BEAN is making it easy by partnering with Shanghai East International Medical Center (SEIMC) and the Blood Donation Center of Shanghai to help you donate blood.  BEAN也要贡献自己的力量,我们会和上海东方国际医院(SEIMC)和上海血液中心一起, 组织一次无偿献血的公益活动.

 

There is a serious shortage of blood in Shanghai (especially for negative blood types).  Don’t miss this chance to make a difference. 

 

经过我们了解,目前上海血库供应不足,尤其阴性血型极端短缺, 我们希望可以通过BEAN的组织和协调以及你的参与为解决这个问题贡献一份自己的力量,给生命第二次机会.

 

Certified doctors and nurses from the Shanghai Red Cross Blood Donation Center and logistical support from SEIMC will guarantee a safe and easy donation process.  

 

为了保证活动可以顺利安全的进行,上海血液中心和上海东方国际医院会无偿提供专业的医护支持, 医护人员会在现场解答志愿者的问题并协助活动的顺利进行.

Please kindly note that the whole process (filling out forms, meeting with the nurses to take your blood sample and vital statistics, donating blood, recovering with cookies and milk) takes about 60-90 minutes.  Donors also receive a Thank You gift from the Red Cross after donating.

*Shanghai cool cats: You are automatically disqualified from giving blood if you have gotten a tattoo in the past year.  Further note that you're only allowed to donate blood every six months.*

 

 *如果你在过去的一年内有新的纹身, 那你今年就不能献血了.另外, 两次献血之间的间隔至少要六个月.

 

 Although spots are limited, we anticipate offering this program on a regular basis. 为了保证活动的质量,参加人数会受到限制,但是我们会保持和你的联系,因为和大家一样,我们也希望可以组织更多次无偿献血的活动.
